For students of Burdwan Municipal High School (Homestudent)

• SCIENCE - BENGALI MEDIUM:75% marks in Science group (225 out of 300) and 70% marks in aggregate (i.e. 490) in the Secondary examination.
• COMMERCE: Students of Burdwan Municipal High School who have passed the Secondary examination will be eligible for applying in COMMERCE section.
• HUMANITIES/ARTS:35% marks in aggregate.
• Students who secured minimum 50% marks in Geography and overall 35% marks in aggregate will be eligible to apply for Geography in Arts section.
• Students who secured minimum 60% marks in Mathematics will be eligible to apply for Mathematics in Arts and Commerce section.

For students of Other Schools

• SCIENCE-(BENGALI MEDIUM):Students who have secured minimum 90% marks in aggregate (630/700) and 90% marks in Mathematics, Physical Science and Life Science (Science-Group) in the Madhyamik examination will be eligible for applying in SCIENCE Section.
• COMMERCE SECTION:Students who have passed the Secondary examination will be eligible to apply for Commerce section.
• HUMANITIES/ARTS SECTION:Students, who have secured minimum 40% marks in aggregate in the Secondary Examination 2020, will be eligible to apply for Arts.
• Students who have secured minimum 60% marks in Geography and overall 50% marks in aggregate will be eligible for applying Geography in Arts Section.
• Students who have secured minimum 60% marks in Mathematics will be eligible to apply for Mathematics in Arts and Commerce section.
• Relaxation of 5% marks in each category of SC, ST and OBC students (except students of Burdwan Municipal High School seeking Science) will be given as per rule.
